Patient Comment October 2019
Dr. Woodland is an excellent gynecologist. I was with him when he was at Pennsylvania Hospital and I continue to see him in Reading, even though I live in Philadelphia. Before finding him I had several bad experiences with gynecologists, where I was treated as if I were on a conveyor belt and the doctors would literally spend three minutes with you.Dr. Woodland takes the time necessary to perform the exam, to discuss any and all medical concerns, and sets out a plan for going forward. I don't mind driving more than an hour to see him because my health is worth it. But I was thrilled to learn he would be seeing patients at Chestnut Hill Hospital, which is literally walking distance from my house. Finally, I wanted to mention the nurse who saw me the day of my appointment. Unfortunately I forget her name, but she was wonderful. She mentioned she had a stroke within the last six months and I was amazed she was back at work. She was thorough and precise, and also incredibly warm and approachable.

Patient Comment September 2019
Dr Woodland listens and is proactive about any health issues I address with him. In turn, if he believes there is a health issue we need to address or check on for preventive care, he explains it and orders tests for it.
Patient Comment September 2019
*Dr. Woodland is an amazing doctor with a great personality - caring, thoughtful, understanding & thorough. I never feel rushed or concerned with his thoughts and/or recommendations because he is so thorough & included me in decision making.

Dr. Woodland is an excellent doctor, and listener. I have been seeing him for many years, and no matter where I live, I make the effort to keep him as my doctor. (I lived in Chicago for a year and kept my appts with him. I live in Center City Philadelphia, and make the drive out to Reading to see him.)
