Tower Health Urgent Care to Open New Location in Gilbertsville

West Reading, PA., March 11, 2020 - On Wednesday, March 18, Tower Health Urgent Care will open a new location at 1050 East Philadelphia Avenue in Gilbertsville. The location will offer patients convenient access to advanced, comprehensive care 365 days a year from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Walk-in care will be available at the new urgent care location for a variety of conditions, including colds, flu, allergies, asthma, sore throat, sports injuries, minor lacerations, sprains, earaches and ear infections, and preventive services such as physicals, and occupational health.

To provide truly integrated care, physicians and other providers at Tower Health Urgent Care at Gilbertsville will use Epic, the electronic medical record in use across Tower Health. Epic brings patient health information from Tower Health care sites into one health record, leading to more informed clinical decisions, improved outcomes, and seamlessly coordinated care.
