Reading Hospital – Tower Health announced today that Latrice Mumin, Ed.D., MBA, and Yamil Sanchez Rivera, Ed.D., have joined the Board of Trustees. The addition of Drs. Mumin and Sanchez builds on Reading Hospital’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Dr. Mumin currently serves as Director of the Office of Accountability for Montgomery County Intermediate Unit at the Harrisburg School District. She serves on the Board of Directors for Centro Hispano of Reading and Berks county, is a Unite for HER Advisory Committee member, serving women of color, and a committee member of the Bosom Buddies Support Group for African American Women, an affiliate of Breast Cancer Support Services (BCSS). Dr. Mumin received her MBA from Syracuse University, her Doctorate in Education and Master of Arts from Wayne State University, and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Dr. Sanchez is the Chief Administrative Officer at the Reading School District. He is a Holy Name High School graduate and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He currently serves as Chair, Community Connection Project for Reading Hospital, is a Steering Committee Member of Berks Early Learning Coalition, is a member of the United Way of Berks County Oakbrook Collective Impact Council, and is a Steering Committee member of the Berks Initiative School Attendance. Dr. Sanchez received his Doctorate in Education from Lehigh University, his Master of Education from Kutztown University, and his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University.
